| Do you want to learn how to meditate? |
[27 Aug 2011|04:01pm] |
Have you tried to meditate but you keep falling asleep? Or think about to play the game or collect rift gold or rift plat to relax? Or you're not sure you are doing it right? Do you keep thinking about other things while you are trying to "clear your mind"? First you need to decide what type of meditation you want to do. There are basically two types of meditation - active and passive. Passive meditation is clearing the mind of all thoughts. You can then allow your "inner voice" or "mind eye" to speak to you. Passive meditation is good for reducing stress, increasing creativity, or just getting in some quiet time. Active meditation is when you keep your mind active by working on a particular problem in your life or focusing on accomplishing certain goals you have set. Using affirmations while meditating are particularly helpful in this area. There are many simple techniques to help you meditate. You may have read about them already. They include breathing techniques, repeating mantras, sitting up so you don't fall asleep and visualizing certain objects. These are all good techniques and will help you accomplish reaching that alpha brain wave level necessary for meditation. However, for a beginner, it can be frustrating, especially if you are not sure that you are reaching the alpha level. There are tools available that can help you. The easiest way to get started is with guided meditation cads. These recordings may have background music or binaural beats designed to help your brain get to the alpha level. Most of them will have a relaxation exercise. These are useful for passive meditation.

| What are you likely to gain from meditating? |
[27 Aug 2011|04:02pm] |
What are you likely to gain from meditating? Simple: It improves the power of your concentration. You calm down. And enables you to know what you want out of life and how to achieve it. In our experience, we each have two sides of us, two YOUS if you prefer. ONE YOU: wants to be successful and has the ability of giving you all the help and encouragement you need. THE OTHER YOU: wants you to be an all so ran. Mediocre and that one will also give you all the help and encouragement you need to be mediocre. The question is: Which of these have you chosen to work with? Which of these have you activated? Which of these have you give credence and credibility? Ask yourself: When did you last say you would do something but never did? When you indulge in collecting rift gold or rift plat, what do you think? Relax body or mind? Or else? When did you say that you volunteer for a task only to find that whilst you were procrastinating another person took the opportunity and made it? When was the last time you broke a promise to your colleague, your partner or your children? If you can identify with all or some of these behaviors then you have chosen to live with you that are less powerful. As a result will find it difficult to reach the goals you have set for yourself in this life.

| Do you have hunger pains? |
[27 Aug 2011|04:02pm] |
The following exercise program has been designed to get the mind firmly in the present, not yesterday or tomorrow but right here, right now. It's a particularly great exercise to become familiar with because it helps during times when you need to totally cotera gold tera gold. There have been many times in the past when I've been overwhelmed by the many different tasks on my 'to do list'. Learning to become present has helped me to focus totally on one thing at a time and makes me far more effective in my work output. You can try one, more than one, or all of the following exercises to access the present moment and as you do them, retain your focus for at least three minutes. The longer you stay focused the longer you'll be in the present moment. If you start thinking about dinner; what's on television; the shopping etc, then you're no longer in the present but the future or possibly the past. If and when this happens refocus on your breathing to again be aware of the present moment. Sit and be still, as in do nothing except become aware of the rise and fall of your chest as you breathe in and out, listening to the sound of your breath. To become fully present, right here right now, focus on what is happening inside your body. Do you have hunger pains? Are you cold/hot? Move your tongue around inside your mouth and feel your teeth.
