If you’re looking for some fitness DVDs that promise fabulous results in less than three months then you might like to look at the P90X , a set of 12 DVDs that covers the full fitness spectrum, offering workouts for every muscle you possess and a few that you didn’t think you had, combined with cardio, core, plyometrics (jumping up and down) and an aerobics workout as well.
Frankly if you can stand the burn, it will do what it says on the tin, but I’ve had a good look through and believe me when I say it’s hard; when Tony says you ought to have a bucket close to hand when you finish the workouts, I don’t think he’s joking!
Grossness aside, this is a seriously good and well- put-together system of workouts which includes a properly balanced nutrition plan and of course the offer of the ubiquitous supplements. But if you take on this programme and do what they tell you, you will be gobsmacked by the results. If you’re a bloke you will get very nice muscle definition in the three months, P90x Workout although bear in mind that the ripped bodies on screen probably took a lot longer than that!
This system isn’t just for the guys – if you’re female and you take it on, you’ll get good results as well, with nicely toned although not bulky muscles and fantastic calorie burn. All you need is some dumbbells; I would get a few in varying weights. Women don’t need a massive amount of weight for toning and calorie burning, but guys, if you want to build seriously big muscles you have to overload them to make them grow, so you’ll probably need more sets of weights. insanity
The whole 12 workouts plus the nutrition plans and fitness plans will cost you three monthly payments of $39.95, with an eye watering $19.95 added for S&H (how much does it cost to send a few DVDs?!).
