Is the iPad the best e-book reader? This seems to be one niche where the iPad has a good shot at being one in the best devices. The New York Times has written an app to produce it doable to subscribe to the paper and enjoy some enhances features around the iPad. There is a similar NYT program for the black and white screened Sony Daily Edition Reader. A black and white screen is OK for books and newspapers, but the iPad's 9.7-inch multitouch color show will make the iPad suitable for reading e-magazines.
