What took so long??

There is now word coming from Hollyweird that there will be a Michael Jackson clothing collection.

Christian Audigier - the man behind a gazillion bedazzled Ed Hardy shirts - has now decided to keep rocking and rolling with plans he had with the late King of Pop for a clothing line.

One assumes that the line he was rumored to be starting with pop tart Britney Spears will have to wait.

About Photo: Audigier was working with Jackson on stage costumes for the singer's much-ballyhooed London concerts. The two were close; MJ even showed up at Audigier's 50th birthday splash last year (as did Snoop Dog, Fergie and Pamela Anderson).

• Wait....it gets better (or worse depending on how you feel about this sort of thing): Audigier also announced - with nary a bit of shame - that he plans on buying the Bel Air mansion that Jackson was renting when he died and turning it into a museum for the Gloved One.
